What is the difference between a thought, an idea and imagination?
Well, imagination is a combination of thoughts, ideas that come to live. They are combined in your imaginary world, framed by a set of rules and behaviors that you decided should exist.
Thoughts that don’t come to life are just thoughts. No matter how hard you try, they don’t fit in your imaginary world. Leave them as thoughts and don’t force them to be in your world of imagination.
The boy in the picture sees this electronic part, a printed circuit board, his thoughts come to life seeing the function of this part as a piece of his imaginary puzzle. That is awesome, because what kind of device, what something is he developing?
